Assam is a state in North East India. It is surrounded by six other states. Although Assam is known for its tea gardens, there is more to this state in North East India than meets the eye. The tea plantations are one of the most popular attractions in Assam, but there are also numerous national parks, Kaziranga National Park, and archaeological sites to explore. This diverse state has something for everyone to experience. Experience everything that perfectly distinguishes Assam’s beauty and culture.
Arrive at Guwahati, either by plane or train. Guwahati is the commercial capital of Northeast India and is also known as the Temple City. Visit Peacock Island, the world’s smallest inhabited riverine, as well as one of the most beautiful. Lord Shiva is honoured on the island. To get to Peacock Island, you’ll have to take a ferry over the Brahmaputra River (as per your discretion-own payment basis)& local landmarks in Guwahati and take a sunset ride on the Brahmaputra River (as per your discretion-own payment basis). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Visit Kaziranga National Park in Assam. It is known for its huge grounds, which are home to a variety of mammals, reptiles, and birds owing to the appropriate kind of vegetation. The park is home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, Asiatic water buffaloes, and eastern swamp deer. Go on a safari to a national park (as per your discretion-own payment basis). Overnight stay here.
In the morning, visit the Orchid Park near Kaziranga. Return to the hotel. It’s time to check out of the hotel. Assam is home to the world’s largest tea plantation. Visit some of the ultimate panoramic lush tea gardens. Head to Majuli.
Majuli sightseeing. Majuli, India’s largest river island, is home to 22 Hindu Vaishnavite monasteries and art centres, as well as 22 historically significant satras. A serene, shimmering blanket of luminous rice fields and flower-filled water meadows covers the island. Majuli, on the Brahmaputra River’s banks, is home to a number of Assamese tribes. Head to Guwahati.
Early morning, head to Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of the oldest Shakti Pithas. A popular pilgrimage site built to symbolise and honour the deity Maa Kamakhya. According to legend, it marks the site where Sati’s womb fell. Do some shopping & get dropped at your airport/railway station. Tour ends here.

While we respect your decisions for any unforeseen event where you have to cancel, we would recommend you choose our deferred trip option. You can actually park your paid amount with us for a future dated trip as per below conditions.
You cancel before 60 days or more in advance.
You have to choose & finalise the next trip you would like to take up within the next 2 months of when you decided to cancel.
You will have only one such chance to be accommodated. After that if you decide to cancel, the regular cancellation rules apply.
Also, you cannot choose a shorter amount trip than the one you had picked earlier.
ILNE must receive notification of cancellation of services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, only in mail. At the time we receive your mail for cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:
50% of the package amount if cancelled 59 to 6 days in advance.
Last 5 days entire amount will be forfeited. (note : if amount paid is less 100%, remaining balance needs to be paid)
In case of partial cancellation ILNEI reserves the right to decide the conditions of refund depending upon the logistics of the trip.!
In case required group size is not reached, ILNE has the right to cancel the trip & you will receive the “trip amount” in voucher (only within the next 10 days)
In any cash refunds from ILNE to guests, the transaction fees incurred for online banking services (usually 4%) would have to be borne by the guests.
For any worst case scenario for which ILNE will not have any direct control (natural calamitities-snowstroms, thunderstorms, landslides, floods, earthquakes or unexpected political bandh, unrest, curfew, loal riots, govt. orders), and if ILNE needs to cancel the trek/tour, ILNE would issue voucher for full amount paid which can be used to redeem our next upcoming treks within the next one year.
ILNE is not responsible for any natural or man made calamities and accidents occurring due to the negligence of the guests & while on trek/tour, any expenses incurred by guests are to be borne by the guests themselves. Though we will ensure your utmost safety by suggest you alternatives.
